June 2019: Tudor Barn trip
We have been studying the Tudor Barn as our local significant place and visited the building.
May 2019: Science Dome!
On Friday 24th May, we went inside a science dome to learn about animals in the sea.
May 2019: Year 1 learning from Year 5
Year 1 pupils visited Year 5's classroom, where they told them all about the planets.
May 2019: Royal Observatory
On Tuesday 14th May, we went to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. We watched a space show in the planetarium, stood on the Prime Meridian Line and took part in a season session.
March 2019: World Book Day
We celebrated World Book Day in March. Can you guess who we dressed up as?
March 2019: Trees
In science, we have been learning the names of different types of trees.
December 2018: Making storyboxes
In English, we created storyboxes based on the story 'Handa's Surprise'. These photographs show us painting our boxes.
January 2019: Baptism trip
We visited Christ Church where we undertook a baptism workshop. We were in small groups and each group had a baby to baptise. Each person in the group had a role.
October 2018: London attractions
We travelled along the River Thames and looked at the famous attractions in London.
September 2018: Painting animals from 'The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me'.
In English, we are reading the Roald Dahl book, 'The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me'. We painted the animals from the story.
